ASRock H370M HDV Review
Who doesn’t like affordable stuff, right? The ASRock H310M-HDV is a super duper value option that you should definitely consider, especially if you are really into keep your cost low. Retailing at just RM 256, this board is so affordable that you can keep it as a backup board in case anything bad happens. What’s neat about the ASRock H310M-HDV is that even though it’s low-end, ASRock decided to keep the 8-pin CPU power connection instead of having it at 4-pin like what many brands do.
The board comes with 5-phase power design and supports up to 95W processor, which is plenty sufficient for any user as an Intel Core i7-8700 is just 2/3 of that rated power while one wouldn’t be running K variants on this board. Nothing fancy on the DIMM side of things, the board is so small that one photo could cover it. The ASRock H310M-HDV is actually a Micro-ATX board, you might have mistaken it for a Mini-ITX board from the first pic and I don’t blame you.
It’s just one PCI-E slot larger than a Mini-ITX board, however this board could often fit Mini-ITX casings and have room to spare and you can even use graphics cards as long as it doesn’t take up 2 PCI-E expansion slots.
