Featuring a completely exposed light bar with vibrant RGB LEDs, merged with the award-winning Trident Z heatspreader design, and constructed with the highest quality components, the Trident Z RGB DDR4 memory kit combines the most vivid RGB lighting with uncompromised performance. The uncovered light bar is designed for visual gratification in full RGB. The default lighting sports a fluid full spectrum rainbow wave. Downloadable software allows expanded effect and color customizations to the memory modules. Color match your build and rethink the possibilities with RGB. Trident Z RGB retains the iconic design element of the traditional Trident Z lineup – featuring luxurious hair-line finished aluminum heatspreaders and an aggressive fin design for highly efficient heat dissipation. The top of the heatsink has been exclusively engineered to mount a wider light diffuser for more extravagant lighting effects. Look no further for a memory that combines performance and beauty for building a stylish, modern PC! Each memory kit contains specially screened ICs through G.SKILL’s unparalleled selection process and a custom engineered ten-layer PCB offering maximum signal stability; and every single kit is rigorously tested for reliability, compatibility, and performance across a wide range of motherboards. Create a one of a kind PC with the Trident Z RGB memory kit! The best thing about having RGB capabilities is the ability to choose the colors you want. Whether it’s white on one day or green on the next, you can be sure these modules will look current and modern in any build. Want to sync up your system lighting? G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8GB DDR4 3200MHz Gaming Desktop RAM Review
We review the all new Trident Z RGB 8GB DDR4 memory from G.Skill. It’s fast at 3600 MHz, it’s cool and runs XMP 2.0 memory profiles on Intel platforms as well. Join us as we review not just some of the fastest clocked bars of memory, but a kit among the most cool looking ones as well.
The Trident Z RGB 8GB DDR4 series are hip and trendy alright, they fit the LED themed PCs and components these days. Admittedly, there’s LED and then there’s proper LED implementation that work good and look good. The TridentZ RGB modules as far as I am concerned do fall within that last category as they have been implemented in an incredibly aesthetically pleasing manner, but then G.SKILL added some more TLC as you can control the LEDs in realtion to color and animation. G.Skill is providing their own software to regulate this, the DIMM RGB configuration will also be compatible with with Aura SYNC. At defaults though this kit wil revert to the most popular setting, a rainbow of colors in a wave-style lighting effect, illuminating your PC with a many shades of RGB.
Trident Z RGB 8GB DDR4 does all with without extra cables and connectors. Next to all the RGB bling, you should realize, these are TridentZ DDR4 DIMMs, and that means you’ll see many high-frequency and low latency options for your purchasing needs available. Our kit for example runs an effective 3600 MHz DDR4 data-rate, but G.Skill will offer these kits up-to DDR4-4266MHz in several combinations to adress dual and quad-channel memory configurations ranging from 16GB towards even 64 GB DIMM kits in varying SKUs. Being G.Skill these DIMMs will all receive a life-time warranty as well as being XMP 2.0 compatible.
DDR4 memory modules you can choose plenty from and honestly, cheap but dull all green Kingston Value memory for example works absolutely fine. Then there is regular mainstream DIMMs, then step it up a little and say high-frequency memory is a hint faster and often cooler looking inside your PC with the fancy designs and heat-spreaders. For the last stage in the channel there’s enthusiast grade memory for the performance enthusiasts, which is what we will look at as G.SKILL has released TridentZ series memory, the successor to their TridentX series on the (back then) DDR3 platform. The DIMMs we received from them clock in at an amazing 3600 MHz (effective).
Stylish RAM memory for the people that need fast performance, the people that build their own PCs, perhaps customize it a little. In that mindset G.SKILL released an new series based on quality, performance and LED lit aesthetics in the TridentZ package. These DIMMs will most certainly not be the cheapest, but incredibly cool with great looks and high frequencies that can be enabled with a simple XMP profile in your BIOS. We received a dual/quad channel kit, 32GB of it .. configured over 4 DIMMs thus holding 8 GB each. Rated PC4-28800 / 3800MHz at CAS latency 16. This has to be one of the coolest looking memory kits you have seen to date.
